It was a big weekend for David and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Victoria Beckham[/lastfm].  Victoria gave birth to their first daughter and tagged her with a slightly unusual name.

Joining big brothers Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 6, is Harper Seven Beckham.

The name “Harper” is pretty cute, but “Seven”?  How did they settle on Seven?

You can imagine that she’s had a name for a girl picked out for years.

A source close to the family reportedly told the magazine US Weekly, ” Harper is an old English name that [Victoria] has always liked.”

So what about “Seven?”  According to the source, “Seven is considered a very spiritual lucky number.  She was born in the seventh month, in the seventh hour.”

Harper Seven arrived at 7:55 a.m. on 7/10/11, weighing in at 7 lbs. 10 oz.

Actually, that’s pretty cool.  Let’s hope the lucky number mojo sticks with her.
