Just when we thought David was this close to packing up [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Victoria Beckham[/lastfm] and the kids and leaving the L.A. Galaxy, the tides have shifted.

All signs were pointing to the soccer stud signing with the French club Paris Saint-Germain and leaving the Galaxy for good.

After weeks of negotiation with PSG, Beckham has reportedly turned them down.  PSG President, Nasser al-Khelaifi say, “David Beckham is (with) Los Angeles, and he’s going to stay there.”

Beckham’s been with the Galaxy for five seasons, and reportedly felt it was more important to keep his family in America, where they have been since 2007.

Now all that is left is for Beckham to re-sign with L.A., which is expected to happen within the next few days.

He likes us best.  Good choice.
