Lifetime Network has just announced the ordering of a docu-series centered on following Whitney Houston’s family as they cope with the significant loss.

Pat Houston, Whitney Houston’s sister-in-law, manager, and most trusted confidante, has been in cohorts with Simmons-Shelley Entertainment for a few years now developing a television series focused on the lives of the Houston family.  Today it was announced that the Lifetime Network has ordered 10 hour-long episodes to premiere this calendar year.

The show is set to feature they late pop star’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, whose life has been completely turned upside down with losing the person closest to her.  Pat Houston and her husband Gary, Whitney’s brother, have taken on the task of raising the teenager in a world of camera and fame while she tries to deal with the loss of her mother.
