After being runner-up on the music talent show “American Idol”, Jessica Sanchez signs with Interscope records, “Idol’s” mentor Jimmy Iovines label. Also signed to Interscope Records label is the “Idol’s” winner Phil Phillips who stood next to Sanchez until the final show.
MTV reported that the singers first album will debut in October. Sanchez has been keeping her fans up-to-date via Twitter on her work at the studio keeping fans on their toes. On Sunday, she wrote ” Another day at the studio #musicmakin'” and earlier that week she also tweeted “At the stuuuuudio recording some amazing tracks for the upcoming album ;) <3.”
Also in an interview on MTV News Sanchez expressed, “I don’t want people to just hand me music and be like, ‘Here, you sound good on this. Sing it.’ I want to be able to say, ‘This is me.’ ” Some creative tracks seem to be in the singers future and also hopes of some A-list musician collaborations.
The “Idol” top 10 tour is about to begin which means Sanchez will be swarmed with musical works for 2012. It’s going to be a busy year for her but the end of the year will put all of her hard work into song!
