Christina Aguilera is at last taking a moment to step out of the judge’s chair in the hit-TV show “The Voice” to shine in the spotlight herself, with her new single anticipated to be released in early August.

A source tells Billboard that the pop star has teamed up with well-known Swedish pop hit-maker, Max Martin, who has produced hits for Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears, and Katy Perry.

Following her last album “Bionic” that was released in 2010, Aguilera reportedly is working hard on her next single which is said to be a “club-banger”.

The insider told Billboard that the new Max Martin-produced single contains the lyrics “all I want to do is what you wanted” in the chorus.

Fellow judges of NBC’s “The Voice”, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton, are also set to be featured in Aguilera’s new album.

Aguilera’s last major hit was a collaboration with Voice co-star, Adam Levine, for Maroon 5′s single,”Moves Like Jagger”. The 2011 single netted Aguilera’s first No.1 in ten years!

It seems that Aguilera is ready to hit those top charts once again before summer’s end.
