Katy Perry is #1 on the Billboard Social 50.  What’s it mean?  Only that she’s most influential when it comes to all those hits on YouTube, Vevo, Facebook, Twitter and MySpace.

here’s how the Top 5 are trending since last week:

1. Katy Perry (up 6 slots)

2. Rihanna (down 1)

3. Linkin Park (up 5)

4. The Bieb (down 2)

5. Adele (down 3)

PS. Could be Katy will maintain the top slot considering that she’s the star of this year’s Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular on Wednesday (7/4) on NBC.
