Dan Coudreaut, exec chef for Mickey D’s has revealed the secret behind the world’s favorite double stack. He says that sauce is (Ready?) store-bought mayo, sweet pickle relish, classic yellow mustard, white wine vinegar (Hmmm), garlic powder, onion powder and (and here’s the key)…PAPRIKA. And we thought it was just some sort of tricky Thousand Island dressing. Nope. Those islands in the Thousand Island are tiny paprika specs.
