The “Friday” star, Rebecca Black appeared at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, where she announced her excitement for her upcoming debut album.
The singer/ overnight YouTube sensation showed her support for the nominees for this year’s “Choice Web Star”, a category she won only last year at the 2011 Award Ceremony.
Black arrived on the pink carpet ready to share new information about her ongoing music career.
“I am just finishing up an album right now,” said Black. She added that there are no collaborations in her new album but hopes for it in the future.
“Since it’s my first album, we’re really just starting off and getting the base but maybe next time.”
According to Billboard, the 15-year old has no plans to stop making epic YouTube videos in the coming years.
“For sure. For sure. Until the day I die. Until the day I die,” replied Black when asked about the possibility of making more videos.
Continuing to work on her new album, Black looks for music inspiration in artists such as Rihanna and The Black Keys.
“I love Rihanna’s album, Talk That Talk and I also love The Black Keys. They are a little bit more alternative; they’re not really on the radio but I love them.”
