Sin City’s and Spy Kids Director, Robert Rodriguez has started filming for a new film titled “Machete Kills.” Fans of Lady Gaga, get ready to go Gaga over this film because the ‘Lady’ herself will be a part of the cast!

Billboard.com recently posted a synopsis of the film “Machete Kills” detailing, “the second film in the trilogy (Machete), will pick up with the title character mourning his lost love,” the movie’s website reports. “He is then recruited by the U.S. president to take down a cartel leader before he fires a missile at America.”

Lady Gaga will be playing the character La Chameleón. No word yet on her characters role in the film, since it was just announced on Twitter a few hours ago today. Check out below to see what the two have announced via Twitter.
