Two gigantic forces of pop music have collided, and thanks for Cher’s love of tweeting we are getting some incredible inside information. Last week she shared that she is working with producer Timbaland on her new studio album.

On what will be her 26th album, Cher says she is very proud of her duet with Lady Gaga, “think ALL SONGS R Great so Far& I’m not Big Fan!GREAT Writers!GAGA IS MAJOR&Her VOCAL IS AMAZING!KUK Heard TGTLast night 4 1st Time & Freaked,”

Um, I got some of that. Apparently Cher likes to be a little bit cryptic with her tweets.

Later she followed with, “Finished Song!I LOVE IT! Cant tell names of songs cause Record CO, gave Strict ORDERS ! THINK 1st Single drops Oct. then cd near Xmas.”

Ahh, that I understood. We’ll get the first single this fall with the album coming by Christmas.
