Is Katy Perry officially over ex Russell Brand? Not sure about that one, but she has been hanging out with infamous Hollywood heart-breaker, John Mayer!

Katy and John shared a romantic dinner date at Pace Restaurant in Hollywood Hills on August 1st, and were spotted together again over the weekend.

People Magazine has reported that the pair was seen at a party thrown by Hollywood talent agent Michael Kives, and that some of the guests in attendance were not human! Animals from a conservation were brought in for the bash and the two singers were seen playing with alligators and kangaroos throughout the night.

According to a fellow party-goer, John and Katy looked “really cute together” and “definitely enjoyed each other’s company.”   It sounds like the two are really hitting it off, but is it a possibility that they have been keeping the relationship under wraps until just recently?  The party guest said that they “acted like they’ve been a couple for a long time” and that it “definitely didn’t seem like a new relationship.”

Those sneaky celebrities!  I wonder how long they have been hiding this little secret…and if it will fizzle.  Katy Perry was last quoted in Elle Magazine as saying that she is “a woman who likes to be courted…strongly”, whereas John Mayer is the Hollywood bad boy known for his rocky relationships with Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson and Taylor Swift.  

Who knows, maybe we’ll get some juicy new music as a result of this relationship!
