It was a sad, sad day.  Seven months ago the Priceline Negotiator met untimely end, perishing in a big ball of fire in a terrible bus crash after saving the lives of all  the other riders inside.  Of course he did!

He has been mourned in the Priceline commercials that followed.   His memory even brought a nun, who had originally been riding on that bus, to tears.  Oh…SO sad…

Well….get this!

William Shatner, the tv pitchman who played the Negotiator , has been spotted…ALIVE!!!

In spots that begin airing this week, Mr. Negotiator is seen on a beach with a surfboard under his arm.  He is greeted by a gentleman in a suit who notes that he has been busy for a dead man.  “After you jumped ship in Bangkok, I thought I’d lost you.”   Shatner…er, Mr. Negotiator, I mean…says, “Surfing is my life, now.”
