Taylor Swift is arguably the most influential female musician for young girls. Even if she can’t nail down one guy, she still has this natural connection with her young fans. Now she will be connecting not just through music but with shoes! Keds sneakers has linked up with Taylor for a series of ads and social media campaigns to empower young girls starting today. This isn’t the first time she has teamed up with Keds, last year the two created a “Red” sneaker to promote her album but now it is set to also inspire young girls that admire her.

NY Times checked out some of the new ads and Taylor is quoted in one of the ads saying, “If you’re lucky enough to be different from everyone else , don’t change to be the same.”

Another ad offers this advice: “Try things. Say hi already. Laugh a lot. Mess up. Apologize. Mess up again. Hug people. Take chances. Trust yourself.” The litany ends, “Be brave and you’ll have the time of your life.”

If you would like to check out the websites, bravehearts.com and keds.com. The campaign will carry saying such as, “Welcome, brave girl, keep your head high and your heart open” and “Don’t you dream impossible things?”
