We all know ladies need their fair share of time to get ready.  Apparently, men need their time, too.  In fact, a new study found that men now spend longer than women sprucing up!  Hard to believe right?

The study found that men can spend up to 75 minutes every day showering, shaving, and styling, as opposed to women, who spend an average of 70 minutes on their beauty regime.

Think men are becoming more high maintenance?  Check out the lengths men will go to maintain their image:

98% said they planned at least two days in advance what they were going to wear

88% said they groomed down south once a week

85% admitted to spending more than half an hour on hair styling

76% said they would try on a few different looks before making the final decision

42% said they owned a hair dryer

36% said they owned a hair straightener

Their closets are growing too.  The average man owns four pairs of shoes, five pairs of jeans, 17 shirts, and 11 pairs of socks.  Doesn’t sound like it can rival a woman’s closet just yet.

However, men, clearly, have a beauty regime of their own now.  Doesn’t it still seem like the man is always waiting on the woman, but who knows, maybe the tables are turning.
