“I wish for a shopping spree and to swim with sharks”
Shopping in the city one lives in can get old. That’s why 14-year-old Wyatt decided that for his wish he wanted to venture outside of his Sacramento stores and hit the malls down south in beautiful Atlanta, Georgia!
Wyatt suffers from Chron’s Disease. Chorn’s disease is a disease which causes inflammation of the lining in the digestive tract, which can lead to severe abdominal pain, and even malnutrition. The inflammation caused by Crohn’s disease often spreads deep into the layers of affected tissue. Crohn’s disease can be both painful, debilitating, and sometimes may lead to life-threatening complications. But that hasn’t stop Wyatt from living his dream!
Along with his parents, Wyatt received the southern hospitality while in the “ATL” spending a few days shopping and sightseeing the beautiful city. Make-A-Wish provided Wyatt with a shopping spree which he chose to spend at Best Buy. As a video game lover, Wyatt bought numerous video games and accessories for his XBOX 360 and Nintendo Wii.
According to Wyatt, the highlight of the trip came when he had the chance to swim with sharks at the Georgia Aquarium. Being in the water with these amazing creatures was an unforgettable experience for Wyatt. After spending a few wonderful days in Atlanta, Wyatt and his family have a clear understanding of the meaning “southern hospitality” and will always remember the many great memories they shared during this vacation.
