Tuesday night Beyoncé premiered her first-ever documentary at New York’s Ziegfeld Theater. The singer directed, produced and of course starred in the documentary. Beyoncé told the NY Post she is ready for people to “see who I am” in her documentary. The film is titled “Life Is but a Dream” and takes place during the three years prior to her daughter Blue Ivy’s birth. Also told to the New York Post, Beyoncé says, “Once I saw my daughter, I knew that the end to this story, this documentary, was here and I was ready to tell the story.”
Oprah Winfrey also caught a sneak peak preview with some of her students at her Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa. While watching the film the students told Oprah,”Mama O., she’s just like us. “And Oprah replied, ‘Meh, kind of, kind of not. Let’s not forget she is Beyoncé.”
