The list of reasons we absolutely adore Justin Timerlake just keeps growing. Surely making a young boy’s dreams come true, Timberlake sang “Happy Birthday” to 8-year-old Julian Delan, who is autistic, according to eonline.
Julian Delan attended Timberlake’s concert in San Jose, California at the SAP Center Stadium with his parents, Peter Delan and Marika Rosenthal Delan where the Grammy winner stopped the concert and led 25,000 fans to sing to Delan.
Both Peter and Marika shared the amazing experience on social media. Marika blogged about the event on the website, The Manifest Station, where she explained her son had been disgnosed with high functioning autism in 2013. She added that attending a show of Justin’s 20/20 Experience world tour was all he wanted for his birthday.
“And at the perfect quiet moment, the group in front of us started yelling to get Justin’s attention, because despite his loud volume, Julian’s voice was not carrying. Only repeating,” Julian’s mom said. “And then before we knew what was happening, the group in front of us that had turned out to be so incredibly kind all night to our birthday boy, and these gorgeous girls who I was convinced would be totally annoyed by Julian, had captured Justin’s attention.”
“And then it happened,” she added. “Justin Timberlake was singing Happy Birthday. They all were.”
Marika shared an adorable photo of the happy birthday boy on her Instagram and thanked Justin.
“We love you, Julian AND we love YOU Justin Timberlake !!!” she wrote. “Thank you for making his birthday SO special!!!”
