Google is getting back into the phone business. At a launch event in San Francisco yesterday, Google introduced its Pixel and Pixel XL as the first phone with the new Google Assistant built in. They tout that with just 15 minutes of charging, the new phone will get seven hours of battery life. Pixel has high quality image stabilization so even shooting moving videos seem stable. Google expects users to use the camera a lot so it’s offering free unlimited storage for full resolution photos and videos. Pixel also has Google Duo, which lets users video chat with iOS and Android users. The Pixel comes in three colors, “quite black,” “very silver,” and a limited edition “really blue.” It’s available for pre-order in the U.S. today. The smaller version starts at $649 for the smaller version.
