How cool is this? The husband of one of the slain Palm Springs police officers is, naturally, struggling with raising the couple’s newborn baby by himself.
That is until one group of mothers stepped in to help!
“On Oct. 11, more than 500 ounces of breast milk were donated to Lesley Zerebny’s family, according to KTVU. It came from a group of women from Northern California’s Monterey area and the milk will be screened and tested before it is given to Zerebny’s 4-month-old daughter, Cora.
The effort was led by a woman identified only as Ashley, who saw a call for prayers on social media and inquired about whether the family could make use of donated breast milk. She was told that yes, it could be helpful, and within a day, a month’s worth of milk was delivered in coolers.”
If that doesn’t restore your faith in humanity, I don’t know what will.
