We love this! Music makes working out easier! I know, half of you just went, “DUH!!!” A study from McMaster University in Canada found music can make the most grueling workout actually enjoyable and easier to bear. (Um, okay, let’s not be CRAZY… enjoyable?) Researchers studied 20 healthy and fit young men and women who were doing High Intensity Interval Training workouts for the first time. First they had the athletes do a workout without music. Then, they ddi the exact same workout with music. Not so surrisingly, they enjoyed the work out more and even performed better when they listened to music! One researcher said, “This tells us that they can actually enjoy it, and they may be more likely to participate in HIIT again if they try it with music.”
