It’s only November, but the season’s hottest holiday toy is already selling out! It’s the interactive toy “Hatchimals” that’s selling out online at Walmart, Amazon, Toys “R” Us and several Target stores. If this is your first time hearing about Hatchimals, it’s a toy that hatches from a plastic egg. Before it hatches, kids can nurture the egg and once it hatches teach the toy to walk and talk. The toy’s manufacturer is promising to step up production early next year.
Various versions of a new electronic robot toy called "Furby", produced by US toy giant Hasbro and distributed by Japanese toy maker Tomy, are displayed at a press preview in Tokyo on September 4, 2012. Furby, who debuted in 1981 and sold over 40 million units in the world, has been renewed and will begin to be sold in Japan from next month. The user can use an iPhone or iPad to take care of the new Furby, such as feeding and communication with the robot pet.
