NBA Team Honors Vet By Fulfilling His Need For A Service Dog

This. Is. Awesome! At Wednesday night’s game between the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets, the Knicks recognized and honored United States Army Sergeant First Class Luciano Yulfo, who is a veteran of 36 years. Luciano has been on a wait list for a service dog for 18 months after being injured in the line of duty in Afghanistan in 2014. So, the Knicks stepped up and surprised him with a service dog named Murphy, using the charity group Paws of War. Luciano was shocked and is overjoyed to have Murphy at his side.
