Tis the season of eating until we’re stuffed! First there is Thanksgiving, where we bounce from house to house eating more than a single portion at each stop along the way. Then, by the time you wake up from that tryptophan nap, it’s Christmas! Which means more eating!
According to this blog from Bravo, the average American WILL gain weight this holiday season, but not as much as you might expect. A study “looked at nearly 3000 people in the U.S., Germany and Japan and calculated how many pounds the average person packs on during the holiday season. The bad news? It’s not zero pounds. In the U.S., people gain an average of 1.3 pounds during the holidays, according to the study.”
