How To Keep Holiday Stress From Aging You

The holidays and all their glory are here, which can be lead to a lot of stress this time of year. So, doctor Michael Roizen, who’s with the Cleveland Clinic, says there are some things you can do to reduce stress and keep it from aging you! Dr. Roizen says sleep is usually the first thing people will sacrifice to get more done, but says that will just speed up the ageing process. Not only can getting enough sleep give us restoration and helps us think clearer, but getting a good night’s sleep can help remove toxins from our brains.  Dr. Roizen says we can help ourselves alleviate stress and keep from aging faster by making sleep and exercise a priority during the holidays amid our busy schedules. Also, if you over indulge and don’t keep a healthy diet, that can also make us age faster.  He recommends bringing your own healthy snacks when going to holiday parties. (Um, okay.)
