All Female Scientific Expedition Headed To Antarctica

Talk about a leap in the right direction, an all female expedition is headed to Antarctica to research (among other things) the effects of climate change.

BBC reports, “…more than 70 women with backgrounds in science (are) set to spend 20 days at sea.

The voyage is part of the Homeward Bound initiative, an Australian programme aimed at increasing the representation of women in top science jobs across the globe.”

So cool! Good luck ladies!
