Well, if your New Year’s resolution is to exercise more, you might want to consider running. A new study out of the University of Arizona found that MRI scans of the brains of endurance runners show greater connectivity when compared with the brains of non-runners. This means running actually helps people with high level thinking, like planning and decision-making. Hmmm, I might take my chances!
