Placer County Girl Rescued From Creek Car Crash

A 12 year old girl was caught in a wreckage after her and her mother’s car flipped off highway 49 into a creek between Auburn and Grass Valley.

Officers saw cars swerving on the wet road, but soon found the sedan flipped over inside a creek. The girl’s mother was able to get out but went back to get her out once she realized her daughter was still inside!

Officers and citizens both came to the rescue and were able to get the girl out of the car.

“Deputies say she was unresponsive at first; she was giving first aid and put in the back of a patrol car until medics could show up.” states CBS 13.

Everyone is reportedly okay.

Stay safe everybody!
