Lady Gaga’s Music Sales Increase Over 1000% After Super Bowl

Lady Gaga had a memorable performance at the Super Bowl, and her music sales reflected it!

According to Billboard, the pop star’s sales increased by 1000% on February 5th, the day of the Super Bowl, with about 150,000 digital albums and songs sold. In comparison, she only sold around 15,000 digital albums and songs the previous day.

Her biggest selling single following the game was “Million Reasons,” a single from her latest album, Joanne, that ended up selling over 45,000 copies.

She also sold more songs and albums digitally on game day than she had the entire previous week!

This isn’t an unusual trend though, as Coldplay also saw huge jumps in sales following their performance at last year’s Super Bowl.

It is expected her sales surge will continue through the rest of the week and affect the Billboard charts, so get ready to start hearing more Gaga on the airwaves!
