Exciting news out of Disneyland today, the Village Haus restaurant in Fantasyland will see a big change in the coming weeks!
Disney Parks Blog reports that the Village Haus will be (temporarily) transformed into “Red Rose Taverne, a lively tavern with décor inspired by the beloved film (Beauty & The Beast).” The move is, no doubt, designed to coincide with the release of the live-action film Beauty & The Beast which hits theaters March 17th.
The new menu looks and sounds amazing too. Here are a few of the dishes you can try:
Beast’s Burger – A 1/3 pound Angus beef patty, slow-cooked beef, Gruyere cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato and horseradish aioli on a toasted roll.
Slow-Cooked Beef Poutine – Slow-cooked beef and gravy over seasoned waffle-cut fries, pickled onions and cheese curds.
Poutine Flatbread – Topped with slow-cooked beef, pomme frites, roasted garlic aioli, cheese curds, gravy and herb oil.
and of course…
Grey Stuff Gateau – A white chocolate mousse and red velvet cake with a sweet raspberry center.
