Subway was accused of having chicken with DNA that is only 50% actual chicken, according to NBC.
CBC Market place reported an analysis of the sandwich company’s chicken, that claimed to have found that the chicken had only 50% chicken DNA. So what was the rest? The analysis claimed it was mostly soy, among a few other chemicals.
Subway has responded to the claim by saying, “The accusations made by CBC Marketplace about the content of our chicken are absolutely false and misleading. Our chicken is 100 percent white meat with seasonings, marinated and delivered to our stores as a finished, cooked product.”
So what’s really in Subway’s chicken? The world may never know. We’re still going to pass on that chicken sub.
