International Women’s Day: WWII Photos of Female Workers In Color

Today is International Women’s Day! We’re celebrating and showing our appreciation for women all day today, because without women, it’d only be half of a society.

According to Daily Mail, 450,000 women joined the US aircraft industry during the Second World War replacing men who went off to war. One of the iconic symbols from this era was “Rosie the Riveter” who inspired women to go into the workplace where they’d replace men. To see the full list of photos just click HERE.
