How impressive is this police dog! In an article from The Huffington Post, a 9-year-old Dutch shepherd named Spencer, who helps at the Oregon’s Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, found 3 suspects in 90 minutes. “It’s a rare feat for a Sheriff’s Office K9 to get that number of captures in such a short time frame,” said Sgt. Boone, a K-9 handler for approximately 20 years.
Here’s a break down of how the day went: On March 19th, at 10:20 a.m, Spencer tracked down a stolen vehicle, which led to the arrest of 21-year-old Austin J. Kollas. At 11:35 a.m,, Timothy C. Elmore, 41, was found after a parole violation. He was hiding in a trailer, but Spencer found. Nine minutes after that, at 11:44 a.m. Spencer led the police to 36-year-old Lonnette M. Denison, who was charged with Theft and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
What a wonder dog!
