Millennials Consider Themselves Adults At 30 Years Old

Well this is quite interesting. In an article from The Wrap, CBS’ TV ratings and Nielsen Catalina Solutions  David Poltrack has done some research and discovered that millennial don’t self-identify themselves as adults until the age of 30. But why? Millennials consider being an “adult” when they have moved out, have a job, and pay their own bills. They are not doing that until they hit the big 3-0.

Poltrack says that some of the reason is the fault of the millennial generation being “lazy” and content and some of it is the parents fault supporting them for so long. “More controversial is the whole idea that their baby boomer parents have really coddled them,” Poltrack told TheWrap. “They’ve made it too good for them. Why would you leave?”

While this may be true, have faith that millennials will get their act together and thrive in this world!
