Old Sacramento Boardwalk Will Be Replaced With Concrete

Old Sacramento will be undergoing some heavy changes, with all of its wooden boardwalk being replaced with concrete, according to FOX 40.

The City of Sacramento will pay $7.7 million to replace the older wood boards that serve as a walking surface currently. The new cement surface will be painted to look like the wooden boards that are there now.

The change comes after an Americans with Disabilities Act lawsuit required that the boardwalks become more accessible.
