Verilymag.com says that the reason that the fourth year of marriage is so tough is because “that it’s typically paired with a handful of major milestones.”
It’s usually around the time that a couple has (or has had) their first baby and that changes the relationship drastically. There’s usually money problems as couples are still trying to “find their groove” and they could also be mourning the loss of the Honeymoon Phase of their marriage.
Their advice: “If you’re struggling, that’s a real thing, but remember: Slow and steady wins the race.”
