The walkway from Fantasyland to Frontierland at Disneyland has been closed since construction began on Star Wars Land. The closure caused a lot of gridlock during peak season, causing Disneyland to temporarily re-open the pathway to alleviate the crowd-flow issues.
OC Register reports, “It is now easier to get from Frontierland to Fantasyland at Disneyland, or vice versa.
The theme park reopened its revised Big Thunder Trail that connects the two lands to the public Thursday, June 8, after being closed since early 2016.
The trail was closed so it could be revised, with new rock work, themed decorations related to Disneyland’s construction of the “Star Wars” land expansion.”
