Local Sign Twirler ‘Dancing Dan’ In Hospital After Beating

A well known Sacramento local is recovering in the hospital after being beaten Sunday night.

According to the Sacramento Bee, Daniel Sloan, aka “Dancing Dan,” has become memorable member of the Sacramento community due to his energetic, creative sign twirling for local businesses.

However, the 62-year-old, who also has developmental disabilities, was taken to the hospital after being found on the corner of Arden Way and Morse Avenue following a severe beating.

Thankfully, he’s received a huge outpouring of support from the community, with many taking to social media to help raise awareness about the attack.

A crowdfunding page has set up to help cover his medical expenses, and you can donate to it right here.
