Have you ever watched a Disney movie and felt a sense of déjà vu? Well, it turns out your mind isn’t playing tricks on you. In order to save money while making his films, Walt Disney would use the same scene for multiple movies.
According to Huff Post, they would draw over the scene in the old movie, with the characters from the new movie. This is a process called rotoscoping.
This process was used in a lot of Disney movies. Did you ever wonder why Little John from Robin Hood and Baloo from Jungle Book looked so similar? This was done on purpose so they could use some of the same scenes in both movies, by easily changing out the character. They even used the same actor, Phil Harris.
