Grocery Store Mix Up Leads To Parents Feeding Their Kids Dog Treats

What you should and shouldn’t eat is constantly changing with all the studies you see, but this is for sure not good for anybody.

A Pak’n Save grocery store in New Zealand just happened to put “Scooby Snacks” (famous snacks scooby doo the dog would eat), which are meant for dogs, next to the value aisle which is full of different kid’s snacks, according to MSN.

Well, several parents saw these scooby snacks and thought that they were meant for children, so they bought some, took them home, and gave some to their kids.

Kids were excited to see snacks from Scooby Doo, Where Are You? and to finally have them in their hands. However, once they took a bite, they spit it back out saying it was “rubbish.”

Antoinette Laird, head of external relations for Pak’n Save, issued an apology saying, “On reflection, we can see how the cartoon characters on the packaging might be confusing. We apologise for any distress this has caused to anyone who bought the product by mistake and will happily offer a refund to any customer in this position.”

Scooby Snacks don’t seem to taste as good as every kid thought they would.
