Um, can I just say we must be doing things wrong? $6 a person? For 10 people? I guess, if you don’t want people feeling full.
The 4th of July holiday is a big time grilling holiday, with at least 3 out of 5 people saying they’re going to a barbecue for the Fourth of July next week. No wonder it’s the most popular cookout day of the year. And, here’s some good news if YOU are hosting. The American Farm Bureau says your summer cookout, for 10 people should cost $55.70, or about $5.60 per person. WHAT!? Really?
They say that for those prices, you can buy: Eight hot dogs and buns, eight cheeseburgers and buns, pork ribs, potato salad, baked beans, chips, condiments, lemonade and chocolate milk and watermelon for dessert.
Mmmmk. Well. We see the problem. They’re not factoring in beer, chips, a veggie tray, fruit tray, other delicious appetizers or BEEEEEEEER!!! Hello! What’s a bar-b-q without beer? I guess one year of throwing those and it will get even cheaper, cause ain’t no one wanna go back to your house!
