Discovery Park had been flooded for months with rain in the past year, but all the water had finally swept away.
According to SacBee, the park will have a “Grand Re-Opening” tomorrow (Friday) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The park will be celebrating the re-opening with food trucks and bounce houses.
The focus of the event is water safety, with campaigns such as “Life Looks Good on You” and “Kids Don’t Float” being present.
If you post a selfie wearing a life jacket with the hashtag #SacRivers on Twitter or Instagram, you could get free entry to the event! So don’t miss out!
Discovery Park is located at 1600 Garden Hwy, Sacramento, CA 95833.
