Madison Bumgarner has been in rehab for a while now, and while he bombed his game playing for the Class A San Jose Giansts, this has not dissuaded the San Francisco Giants from targeting a July 15 return to the rotation in San Diego, according to SF Gate.
This past Wednesday night, Bumgarner allowed a 9-1 against the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes in just the first four innings. The game ended 14-1 with the San Jose Giants being the ones getting blown out.
Not all seems to be bad though, and the SF Giants are still believing in him.
Bumgarner is on track to be back with the SF Giants when they go against the Padres in San Diego.
