SoCal Lady Covers $400 Firefighters’ Denny’s Tab

With this excruciating heat thus far into the summer season comes wildfires. It comes with the territory in California.

This is the time of year when firefighters take center stage because they have to spend countless hours extinguishing these fires, which can sometimes take multiple days.

A Southern California wanted to do her part in giving thanks to the firefighters who just finished fighting the La Cadena Fire in La Loma Hills. After they were done dining at a Denny’s, the lady, who wanted to remain anonymous, picked up the $405.22 tab for the 25 firefighters from the City of Colton Fire Department.

The City of Colton Fire Department’s Facebook page gave a shout out to the woman.

“On behalf of all the firefighters that worked on the La Cadena Fire,” the Facebook post read. “we thank you for your generous show of support.”
