Beer Company Designs Edible Six Pack Rings That Are Good For The Environment

A Florida brewer has come up with a great idea!

The Saltwater Brewery out of Delray Beach, Florida has redesigned those 6-pack rings to not just be more environmentally friendly, but also to feed animals, one sixer at a time!

The brewery, who’s most popular beer is its Screamin’ Reels IPA and Sea Cow Milk Stout, is teaming up with another company to create the only edible beer packaging rings that will feed animals instead of harm them!

So, how do they do it? They’ve discovered that by using a material made of the left over barley and wheat, they can bake the rings in an oven, which hardens it allowing it to hold a 6-pack. So, not only does it replace plastic, it’s non-harmful to animals and biodegradable!

Beer. Good.
