If You Got A Robocall Offering A “Free Cruise” You Could Be Owed Up To $900 For You

We all hate spam call, right? The robo calls? And, they always seems to come at the absolute wrong time! Well, if you’ve ever received a call congratulating you for winning a “free cruise,” you could be entitled to some money! Up to $900 to be exact. It’s all because of a class action lawsuit against Resort Market Group that alleges Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Line authorized the group to make recorded robocalls offering the free cruises from July 2009 and March 2014. The lawsuit claims the robocalls violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. The settlement was reached last month and put $7-$12.5 million in a fund to pay people who got the calls. Each call could mean a maximum of $300, and you can claim up to 3 calls per phone number for a total of $900.

To see if you’re phone number is part of the lawsuit, click HERE. You have until November 3, 2017 to file a claim.
