Little Girl With A 3-D Printed Hand Wants To Break MLB First Pitch Record

Hailey Dawson is a little 7-year-old girl with a rare condition that left her with only three fingers on her right hand, but Hailey has a dream to become the first person to throw out the first pitch at every MLB ballpark.

Her dream just got a lot closer to becoming reality.

Thursday, Bleach Report published a video on Twitter about Hailey. According to The Daily Dot, within hours over a half a dozen teams had replied to her post.

Dawson is on a mission to spread the word about Poland Syndrome, a condition that causes the underdevelopment of on one side of the chest wall and can sometimes affect fingers. The second grader uses a specially designed 3D-printed hand with fingers made of hard plastic and held together by fishing line.
