‘Millionaire’s bacon’ is similar to candied bacon – thick slabs of center cut bacon coated in brown sugar (you can mix in a bit of cayenne pepper for some heat) and baked low and slow for a few hours. It’s off the charts delicious!
Now it’s starting to pop up on restaurant menus in the Bay Area for a whopping $14 for two pieces at $14 at Blackwood in San Francisco, according to SFGate.
Steven Hoyul Choi, the owner of Blackwood believes that the people who are complaining about the price just haven’t tried it yet.
Or you can just google a recipe for ‘candied bacon’ and make it yourself. It’s super easy.
