Summer movie season is a great time to see big action-packed epic films. So why not see these films on the biggest screen possible. The Downtown Esquire IMAX Theater is the only theater in Sacramento showcasing the large format films. If you haven't see a flick in IMAX you really are missing the bigger picture. Film Festivals & Speical Screenings
I know Sacramento is not Hollywood but that does not mean we can't have our own Film Community. The city has two upcoming festival: Sacramento French Film Festival (June 15 to June 24, 2012) & 8th Annual Sacramento Japanese Film Festival (July 13 to July 15, 2012).
